Cities Skylines: After Dark

Cities Skyline After Dark

Cities:Skylines After Dark the first DLC content for Cities:Skylines comes out next week on the 24th. I love city builders and Cities:Skylines is the best on the market right now, and it is about to get a lot better.

After Dark brings in quite a few new features, as you can probably gather from the title “After Dark,” a lot of the new features in the game will relate to night time and your cities goings on after the sun goes down.

“Towns will look – and behave – differently at night, and citizens will seek out new evening hotspots such as nightclubs, bars, and more. New city services will make sure that nighttime revelers get home safe in new in-game taxis, while those who get too irresponsible may find themselves in new in-game prisons.”

Features :

Day and Night Cycle: As the name implies now there will be a day and night cycle in your city. At night your city comes alive, crime increases at night, commercial zones can be hopping with bars and restaurants. Basically your city hasn’t even lived until night rolls around.

Leisure Specialization: Commercial areas can now specialize in leisure activies.

Tourism Specialization: Commercial areas such as bars and restaurants, small marina and fishing tours on the shoreline can specialize in beach activities.

Expanded City Services:

  • Criminals will now be taken to Prison from Police buildings
  • Taxi service will help citizens and tourists travel around the city.
  • Cargo hubs are harbors that accept cargo trains straight to the terminal
  • International airport is a hug airport, allowing much more traffic than the previous airport and has a metro station attached to it.
  • Bus terminals allows citizens to transfer to other bus lines in the terminal building.

New Transportation Options: Bikes and dedicated bike lanes and bike ways let citizens opt for a faster alternative to walking. Bus lanes can be used to help the public transportaion run smoother.

Heroes of the Storm

We all know MOBA’s are a big thing. HotS is Blizzard’s foray into the MOBA game.

I must admit I am not a huge fan of MOBA style games (minus Smite, I love the 3rd person view of it, makes it a little different). But I have to say playing with characters you have come to know and love (or hate) over the years does make it a lot more interesting and fun. As of this writing there are 40 Heroes you can play as, covering Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo, as well as The Lost Vikings.

I know visuals don’t make the game, but in my opinion the game looks fantastic. The art style really fits with the game and makes the Heroes look great. A game you can definitely lose yourself in.

If you are interested in some guides and more in depht info for Heroes of the storm check out the HeroesNexus.

In the future I hope to bring you some streams and some videos of Heroes of the Storm.

Remember if you find this useful or entertaining please share the post and our site on social media.

Moving Forward

Welcome to GamingPredator. GamingPredator is a website that is dedicated to bringing you gaming news, reviews, previews, videos and general info. In addition to the website we hope to start up our own Twitch/hitbox channel to showcase games we are reviewing and playing for your entertainment.

Currently the staff is just one person, me. Some people that visit early on may recognize me from online games I go by Brannin in a lot of games and that is currently my Twitch user name as well. Hopefully I will be finding a few more staff for the website to help with writing articles as well as filling up time on the Twitch channel to keep all our viewers entertained. My goal is to one day hopefully have a 24 hour stream going on with different people playing a variety of games every day.

The site is still very early in the planning stages and I hope it will grow to become a very exciting and entertaining place for everyone.
