We are going to be flashing back to 1999 and 2000 with Tony Hawk Pro Skater and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. They are set to be remastered and coming out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in September
I was not really into skateboards growing up but I do remember spending countless hours playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater. Was a good game and at the time had an amazing soundtrack as well. First reports coming out also indicate alot of the original soundtrack will be back in the remaster as well.
Remaster Trailer
The Create-A-Skater and Create-A-Park feature will appear in the remaster as well, with additional content for both. All in all I will look forward in playing the game should be a blast to play again with HD/4k video settings.
Minecraft Dungeons is an upcoming dungeon crawler game developed by Mojang and published by Xbox Game Studios. The game is set to be released for Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on May 26, 2020
I am a huge fan of ARPG’s, I have way to many hours into Diablo 3 than I will ever admit. So seeing Minecraft Dungeons on the horizon intrigues me quite a bit. I’ll admit I have never played Minecraft as that is just not my style of game, but let me go through dungeons killing stuff and I will be there.
Looking at the information available for the game there will be online pay, solo pay as well as couch co-op. Not many games offer couch co-op anymore so will be interesting how that goes. Maybe I’ll be able to convince my wife to play with me at least to get her feet wet in the game.
Minecraft Dungeons is set to release on May 26th and will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch which will be great news for a lot of people wanting to try out the game.

Everyone loves free games right? Even better when the game is actually decent? Well then great news, right now you can get 8 Bit Boy for free thanks to PC Gamer and Bundle Stars. I actually did a video for 8 Bit Boy a while ago here it is .
8 Bit Boy is actually a pretty fun and challenging retro styled platform game. And what do you have to lose? It is free after all. So head on over to PC Gamer and get your copy while you can.
A game that I enjoyed hundreds of hours playing with good friends is Smash Brothers. I have always been searching for an alternative to Smash, especially on the PC since I personally do not own any of the Nintendo consoles. Luckily for me I cam across Brawlhalla tonight while browsing around Steam. I have to say that I am glad I did.
Right now you can sign up for the Beta and wait for your key, or on Steam you can buy your way into it for $20 and get instant access to the game as well as access to all new legends (what the fighters are called) as they are released.
The game featured online 1v1 2v2 and 4 player FFA as well as ranked/ladder play. Is it exactly like Smash Brothers? No but it is damn close to being a perfect replacement. The fact it is on the PC makes it even better, now maybe they will eventually come out with a Xbox/PS version as well…yes yes… I can dream of that now.
To sign up for the beta head on over to Brawlhalla and if you want instant access right now head over to Steam and get it right now.
I haven’t played it enough yet to be able to give it a full review but do expect one coming in a few days or weeks.
Going on right now are two great deals on some game making software.
One of them is going on over at Humble Bundle on their weekly bundle. It include Game Maker as well as some games made with it as well as source codes for some of the games. You can pick up all three tiers for just $12.
The other bundle you pick up right now is at Bundle Stars. It includes RPG Maker VX Ace and Game Guru for $8.49. Both RPG Maker VX and Game Guru also comes with some DLC to help you further enhance your game that you are making.
Now will you be making a AAA title with these software bundles? No, not really but you can still make some pretty sweet games with a little learning and patience. If you have ever been interested in getting into some indie game development now would be a good time to grab these bundles and get started cheaper.
Timberman released on Steam on the 9/18/15, but has been around the mobile market for much longer and boasts almost 30 million downloads. The game has a very simple goal, chop down the tree without getting hit by the branches. Sounds easy right? well… not quite you are also racing against a timer and have to move pretty quickly.
You can grab Timberman right now on steam for $0.89. Yes you read that right less than a dollar, for that price this game is great.
The steam version offers multiplayer matches as well as a few more “timbermen” to unlock compared to the mobile version of the game. So check your couch cushions for some loss change, and head on over to Steam and pick this game up. Great for something to play real quick.
Cities:Skylines After Dark the first DLC content for Cities:Skylines comes out next week on the 24th. I love city builders and Cities:Skylines is the best on the market right now, and it is about to get a lot better.
After Dark brings in quite a few new features, as you can probably gather from the title “After Dark,” a lot of the new features in the game will relate to night time and your cities goings on after the sun goes down.
“Towns will look – and behave – differently at night, and citizens will seek out new evening hotspots such as nightclubs, bars, and more. New city services will make sure that nighttime revelers get home safe in new in-game taxis, while those who get too irresponsible may find themselves in new in-game prisons.”
Features :
Day and Night Cycle: As the name implies now there will be a day and night cycle in your city. At night your city comes alive, crime increases at night, commercial zones can be hopping with bars and restaurants. Basically your city hasn’t even lived until night rolls around.
Leisure Specialization: Commercial areas can now specialize in leisure activies.
Tourism Specialization: Commercial areas such as bars and restaurants, small marina and fishing tours on the shoreline can specialize in beach activities.
Expanded City Services:
Criminals will now be taken to Prison from Police buildings
Taxi service will help citizens and tourists travel around the city.
Cargo hubs are harbors that accept cargo trains straight to the terminal
International airport is a hug airport, allowing much more traffic than the previous airport and has a metro station attached to it.
Bus terminals allows citizens to transfer to other bus lines in the terminal building.
New Transportation Options: Bikes and dedicated bike lanes and bike ways let citizens opt for a faster alternative to walking. Bus lanes can be used to help the public transportaion run smoother.
As I have mentioned before I love RTS games. Act of Aggression is a new entry into the RTS game, it was released on Sept 2nd 2015.
When I think of RTS games I immediately go to thinking of Age of Empires or Age of Mythology those are by far my two favorite series in the RTS realm. So going by that you can probably figure that I like older style games with swords, shields, and horses. Obviously this game doesn’t have these, in Act of Aggression you will be using infantry, tanks, vehicles and the like. AoA has three playable factions all with their own units and playstyles.
US Army, Cartel, and Chimera are the three playable factions. For most people the US Army will fell like the more “traditional” and probably the easiest to play for people starting out.
On October 4th the plastic instruments make a big return on current gen consoles with the release of Rock Band 4. The first Rock Band game in a long time, and one that I am looking forward to, can’t wait to play some great songs and have some great fun.
Current confirmed play list. In addition to all of these you have all the DLC that you have previously purchased as long as they are on the same platform.
